Alok Talekar is a software engineer at Google DeepMind, where he leads projects that combine remote sensing and machine learning to address agricultural challenges in India and the global south. He was a founding member of the Climate Trace initiative and served as a Google.org Fellow with WattTime.

Alok also co-leads Anthropocene, a grassroots climate group of over 5,000 Googlers who pool their 20% time to develop climate solutions. With nearly 15 years in tech, he brings deep expertise to climate-focused innovation.
